Best Places to Eat in Page AZ for Navajo Food
1. Diné Food Stands
Since much of the attractions in and around Page are on Navajo land, no trip to Page would be complete without experiencing some native Navajo food. Across the street from the Shell gas station on the corner of Coppermine Road and US-98 are some food stands with delicious native foods. Or next to the Shell there is also Big Lake Trading Post that serves Navajo tacos. Surprisingly, there aren’t any Navajo-themed restaurants in Page so these are your best options.
Best Places to Eat in Page AZ for Breakfast
2. Hot n Sweet Coffee & Donuts
This is the only restaurant in Page with a perfect 5-star rating on Google and Yelp. They serve fresh coffee and hot, freshly-made cake donuts (as the name implies). But they also serve home-made breakfast burritos. The shop is run by a husband and wife duo from Page who are incredibly nice and welcoming.
Best Places to Eat in Page – What is the Top-rated Restaurant?
3. Bird House
This fried chicken restaurant was our favorite place to eat in Page. The servings are enormous. We ordered a plate of 10 chicken fingers for our family of six and still had leftovers. They are the biggest chicken fingers we’ve ever seen. The drumsticks and chicken wings with the house sauce are to die for as well. Bird House is the highest-rated restaurant in Page on Google & Yelp as well, so don’t just take our word for it.
Best Places to Eat in Page for Dinner with a View
4. The Rainbow Room
If you want to dine with a view of Lake Powell, this restaurant at the Lake Powell Resort in Wahweap is the best place for it. The food isn’t all that memorable but the view sure is!
5. Sunset 89
The name Sunset 89 fits the location perfectly – situated right off Highway 89 with sweeping sunset views of the Colorado River and its sandstone cliffs. This restaurant serves up dishes you might not expect to find in the American Southwest – Hawaiian and Pacific Island fare. We recommend their signature island BBQ chicken and banana bread pudding for dessert. And eat out on the patio to enjoy those views. Arizona might be devastatingly hot during the day but those summer nights are just perfect.
6. Dinner cruise out of Wahweap Marina
There is no better view than actually getting out on the water and experiencing the majesty of Glen Canyon and Lake Powell up close and personal. Pair that with a steak, chicken, or salmon dinner on the Canyon Princess and you have yourself a great night out.
Best Places to Eat in Page for Dessert
7. Ice Cream at Antelope Point Marina
One of our favoriteLake Powell traditions is to stop by the ice cream shop at Antelope Point in between wakesurf sessions. They serve root beer floats, shakes, and vanilla and/or chocolate soft serve in a cone for the kiddos. Nothing fancy here but it always hits the spot after a long day in the sun.
Best Places to Eat in Page for Pizza
8. Strombolli’s Italian Restaurant
Getting pizza and fried mozzarella sticks (they’re giant!) from Strombolli’s is another one of our family’s Lake Powell traditions. It’s been around for decades. When Pizza Hut just won’t do, stop by Strombolli’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria for some delicious pizza or pasta.
Best Places to Eat in Page for Mexican Food
9. Fiesta Mexicana or El Tapatio
There are two Mexican restaurants that we’d recommend and both have similar menus and decor – Fiesta Mexicana and El Tapatio. We preferred the entrees at Fiesta Mexicana but El Tapatio has some tasty churros for dessert!
Best Places to Eat in Page for BBQ Food
10. Big John’s Texas BBQ
Big John’s Texas BBQ serves up smoked brisket & ribs in true American West fashion. On weekends, there’s even a live band playing on their patio outside. If you love barbecue and Johnny Cash, make sure to give this restaurant a try.
Where to Stay in Page AZ
There are tons of options for places to stay in Page, from camping, to houseboats, to hotels/motels, and lots of Airbnb vacation rental options as well. If you’re a hotel person, our favorite option is the Courtyard by Marriott Page at Lake Powell. We are big fans of the Marriott Bonvoy rewards program, so it’s a great option for earning or redeeming points. It’s one of the nicest places to stay in Page and it’s only 5 minutes from Horseshoe Bend and about 10-15 minutes from other places like Antelope Canyon and Wahweap Marina.
